HappeningsPotpourri Patch HappeningsJulyUnder threat of a hostile takeover of the website, I must have this updated by 9:30 tonight!!! A little gentle pressure is good!!! (Thanks Jay!) It's been a pretty busy summer so far and looks like it will be over before I realize it! I have a class reunion coming up that I am coordinating and that has been pretty time consuming but still no excuse for not keeping up with our new website. I promise to do a better job! We are excited to announce that we are working on a line of body care products! Our first, a yogurt based hand & body lotion infused with essential Lavender oil was very well received at our show this past week-end, the Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival. We sold out in two days. It sounds more impressive than it really was (did you notice my lack of exclamation points?) We didn't have that many containers but people were really excited about the smell & the price. You will find that these are going to be really high quality products and that we aren't going to charge a fortune to help you spoil yourself. There will hopefully be two new potpourri blends coming, one for fall and one for winter. I think that the winter will have some chunky pieces as that seems to be popular based on the comments and sales of the Lemongrass potpourri. Also, based on requests, several more scents for the reed diffusers. I'm heading to Atlanta next week for the wholesale trade show and hope to pick up some new diffuser bottles in fun shapes and colors. I'll have the webmaster work with me to post those as soon as I can. That's all the news for now! Hopefully I can work with Jay, the person harassing me about updating my website, and we can do some great things with this site. Oh, he created a Facebook page for Potpourri Patch. Please check it out! We haven't done a lot with it yet, but I'm sure we'll come up with some promotions in conjunction with the page. Still learning how this website program works!
